Must be 25 or older to make reservations. If you have completed your reservation online you will be charged a $75 Deposit at the time you made your reservation. Our office will call you to confirm details and charge the balance of your rental, normally 7 to 10 days prior to your arrival. At that time you will be emailed your arrival instructions, paid in full receipt and access code.
CHECK IN - Check in time is at 4 pm. We will do our best to have the property ready for you at check in time, we apologize in the event we experience unexpected circumstances and take longer to have the property ready for you.
ARRIVAL: On arrival please familiarize yourself with your vacation rental. We suggest you conduct a walk through to make sure there is no damage or condition unsatisfactory to you. Please contact us immediately at 360 267 1336 if there is something you feel needs to be brought to our attention.
REFUNDS: No refund will be given for inclement weather or malfunctions of equipment. If there is an equipment malfunction we will attempt to repair it as soon as possible. Under no circumstances will a refund be issued for early departure.
LOST & FOUND: Westport Beach Escapes is not responsible for personal property left behind by guests. If you determine that you have forgotten something please call us as soon as possible and we will attempt to locate the item. Any returned item will be on a C.O.D. basis with an additional $20 fee billed to your credit card.
CLEANING FEE: Our cleaning fees are very competitive and we ask that to keep our fees low you assist us by following the procedures set forth in the “Check Out Preparation” paragraph found on the interior side of the front door of your condominium or home. If you are unable to complete the items listed on the check out instructions OR if we determine that there is cleaning required over and above what is considered "normal housekeeping" you may be charged an additional cleaning fee. This is not something we do regularly and we appreciate your consideration as you enjoy this beach home.
CHECK OUT: Check out time is 11:00 am. ALL GUESTS MUST BE OUT BY 11 AM. Late check outs are not available. Guests who are not fully out by 11:00 will be assessed a late check out fee of $75 or another night stay depending on the time of the departure. As you depart please call to let us know you are leaving so we can notify housekeeping. 360-267-1336. Leave all keys on the kitchen counter and lock the doorknob. In some properties you may need to use the key to lock and place it back in the lock box using the same access code provided for your check in.
PETS: Authorized pets require a NON-REFUNDABLE PET FEE that varies depending on the property. For “pet friendly” units there is a limit 1 dog per unit unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. Individual unit owners have differing size limitations. Guests are not permitted to have any other type of pet in the unit. All dogs must be kept on leash when on the grounds and pets must be cleaned up after whether on site, trails or on the beach. Pet owners are financially liable for any/all damage to property caused by pet. Please protect the dune area and stay on trails. Pets are not allowed on the grassy areas and must stay on the walks or designated pet areas. Pets ARE NOT ALLOWED on the furniture. If we must remove pet hair from furniture there will be an additional charge based on the extra time needed to clean. Allowing unauthorized pets into the unit is a breach of this agreement and grounds for immediate termination, eviction and forfeiture of all rents/deposits paid by tenant. Guests must clean up after their pets and are subject to fines according to City ordinance. Guests are responsible for paying for full professional carpet and or furniture cleaning in the event of a pet accident from urine, vomit or feces. SERVICE DOGS - The dog owner must provide a letter from their physician stating that they need a service dog. WESTPORT BEACH ESCAPES has the right to accommodate the guests in a designated pet friendly home. Only in the event there are no pet friendly homes available and the appropriate paperwork was provided by guests they can be accommodated in a non pet friendly home. Except for fee all policies apply to a service dog.All dogs need to be treated for fleas within two weeks prior to arrival date.
OCCUPANCY: Occupancy is limited to the code provided by Fire Department based on square footage and the number of guests stipulated on your reservation receipt. Management reserves the right to enter the unit at any time to investigate disturbances, check occupancy or to determine if there has been any damage to the unit or its contents. Minors should never be left alone in the rentals. The reservation may be canceled and guests may be asked to depart immediately with no refund if maximum occupation is exceeded .
CANCELATION POLICY: If your reservation is cancelled greater than 10 days prior to the date of your arrival your deposit will be refunded less a $25 processing fee. Ten days prior to arrival your reservation will be processed and the total balance due will be charged the credit card on file. In the event you cancel 10 days or less from the arrival date half of your rental fee is forfeit however every attempt will be made to re-rent the property and any amount recovered in subsequent rental will be reimbursed to you. For short notice reservations made less than 20 days from the arrival date... the processing date and cancellation cut off will be equal to half the number of days between the date of reservation and the date of arrival (reservation made 8 days from arrival - cancellation refund cut off is 4 days from arrival)
ACCIDENTS All rentals are privately owned condominiums that have been furnished and decorated by the individual owners. Neither the owners nor Westport Beach Escapes are responsible for any accidents, injuries or illnesses that occur while Guests are on the premises or facilities. We are additionally not responsible for the loss of Guests personal items or valuables. By accepting this rental agreement it is agreed that all Guests are responsible for their safety and security and will abide by the terms set forth in this agreement.
DAMAGE: In the event the unit sustains damage from guests use, including broken appliances or furnishings, stained towels or linens , Westport Beach Escapes is authorized to charge the repair or replacement of damaged item on Guests credit card plus 10% for processing.
WEATHER - The weather on the beach can be unpredictable. We ask our guests to fully close windows and patio doors if leaving the rental unoccupied to avoid damage from winds and water intrusion. The damage policy applies to damage caused from leaving the rental subject to bad weather.
ALL PROPERTIES MUST BE LEASED AND MANAGED WITHOUT REGARD TO THE PROSPECTIVE TENANT'S RACE, COLOR, RELIGION, NATIONAL ORIGIN, SEX OR SEXUAL ORIENTATION. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE.

KEYS: Guests are provided with two access keys and one Fob key for the pool area.There will be a $150 fee for unreturned keys plus a $70 for unreturned fob key. Emergency Lock Out between 5pm & 9am call 360-267-1336. There will be a $125 lock out fee after 5 pm.
FIREPLACES: Westport by the Sea - Most units have electric fireplaces which operate by a switch on the wall near the fireplace or by remote control. Inoperable fireplaces shall not be grounds for refund.
PATIO/DECK DOOR: Each home has access to deck or patio by a unique “Euroline” hatch style door. The handle and locking mechanism are unique. To unlock the door, rotate the knob counter clockwise fully then rotate the door handle 90 degrees (9 o‘clock position) . Push the door open (leaving the handle in the 90 degree position) When you close the door, rotate the handle down to the 6 o’clock position which secures the door… then to lock rotate the knob clockwise fully.
ROOFTOP DECK & BBQ: Buildings 9, 10 and 12 have rooftop sun decks available to guests staying in those specific buildings during most spring and summer. If you are staying in a condo in one of these buildings feel free to enjoy the tremendous view. While you are there please be aware that you are directly over a home. No running or wild activity. If you use the BBQ you are required to clean up when you are done. Check with the desk in the clubhouse if there are no bbq tools or cleaning brushes. Please DO NOT use towels or cleaning equipment from the condo to clean the bbq. No children on the rooftop decks after sunset. Weather conditions will apply to the use of rooftops. No grills are allowed inside the units.
PARKING:- Parking is limited to one vehicle for a one bedroom rental and two vehicles for a two bedroom rental. Please park head in only. One car can be parked in front of the building and the other needs to be parked in the extra spaces around the complex so all units can have easy access. If you have a recreational vehicle or boat trailer please make arrangement with us to see if is possible to park in the complex.
Westport by the Sea Clubhouse - Guests staying at WBS have full access to the recreational facilities at Westport by the Sea. WIFI is available in the clubhouse.You are responsible for the courteous use of such facilities and are reminded that there are certain inherent health risks involved in utilization of the fitness equipment and Hot Tub / Pool facility. Guests will use these facilities at their own risk. Equipment can be checked out from the on site personnel and must be returned by guest prior to closing time.
NOISE - Please be a good neighbor and observe quiet times which are from 10:00 pm until 9:00 am. Music and Television volume should always be such that it is not a nuisance to others. Also please keep in mind that running in second and top floor units can be very loud in the unit below and be considerate.

Parking - There is one designated parking spot, additional cars need to be parked in the public lot adjacent to the building. A parking pass is provided and needs to be placed on the dashboard of the vehicle. Please do not park in any other spot. There is a convenient loading spot for everyone use next to the elevators for the period of 15 minutes.
Noise - Running and playing in the courtyard corridors is prohibited.
Grills - We provide a electric grill for guests use, no charcoal or any open flame grill is allowed.
Keys - two sets of two keys are provided. Two for unit access and two for building access. Lost unit keys will result in a $150 charge and lost building keys will result in a $250 charge. Emergency lock out between the hours of 5 pm and 9 am will be subject to a $150 charge. Please call 360 267 1336.
