At Westport Beach Escapes we combine our local area knowledge (Mike grew up in Westport and returned in 1991 to open his real estate office) with the personal & professional service that comes from over 20 years of real estate sales and a lifetime of loving the South Beach.

As a real estate broker and the owner of Windermere Real Estate/Westport, Mike was actively involved with the development and sales at Westport by the Sea for many years and participated in the marketing and sales for both The Point at Westport Harbor and Cohasset Beach. This knowledge and experience increases our ability to represent our vacation rental clients well as we manage and maintain their homes.

We opened the very first vacation rental management company located in our community in 1999, starting "Vacations by the Sea" to manage Westport by the Sea homes for real estate clients who wished to have their properties generating income when they were not enjoying them.  That business grew and thrived and in 2005 it was decided to sell that company in order to focus on real estate sales (and to have a baby :-). We immediately missed the interaction with owners and guests.

In late 2008, at the prompting of our past clients we decided to get back into the business and launched Westport Beach Escapes! Our initial focus has remained customer service. Happy homeowners and satisfied guests. The properties we manage are as individual and unique as the owners that share them with us. A vacation rental experience is not the same as a hotel stay... it is more personal... and we strive to maintain the charm and personality of our beautiful beach homes throughout the vacation experience for our guests.   We invite and encourage our owners to take full advantage of their beach property as often as they can and in between we hope to introduce many guests to the wonderful beaches of Westport.

We have added homes at the new condominiums at the marina. The Point at Westport Harbor is a fantastic waterfront property that boasts direct marina access and private dock as well as incredible views, topped off by luxurious and beautiful 3 bedroom homes.  Also new to our management is Cohasset Beach! These "Ray Johnston" designed works of art on the dunes are stunning examples of fine beach living and make an ideal location to discover the beauty of the Westport coastline from. Few places offer the combination of beauty, nature and quality found at Cohasset Beach.

We strive for our services to compliment the beauty and unique character of each and every home we represent.
