Fun things to do and see throughout the year on the South Beach

The lure of the mighty KING Salmon still exists in Westport with charter trips leaving daily from April through September in pursuit of Salmon, Halibut, Albacore, Ling Cod and more.

Each year in September and October the Coho return to the basin and can be caught right off the dock. 2009 derby winner landed a silver salmon over 17 pounds!

Discover the tallest lighthouse in the state! Built in 1898, the Westport Lighthouse is open for tours regularly.

Westport is the only community in Washington or Oregon that has a marina you can walk to a beach from! Quaint shops line the harborfront, maritime museum, fishing opportunities, dining options and accomodations... all within a few minutes stroll to the beach at Halfmoon Bay make the marina a wonderful place to hang out.
