Are the homes fully equipped...what do we need to bring?

Although individually owned and furnished, Each home is fully equipped and prepared for your beach enjoyment. Full kitchens have everything you need for most meals you want to prepare and some are bordering on "gourmet' in their attention to detail. Coffee, paper towels, basic spices are in place (exotic spices,oil,condiments need to be brought with). All linen and bath towels are provided but we DO NOT PROVIDE BEACH OR POOL TOWELS. Please bring them with you. Each home has a washer/dryer.

What if we are late getting to the beach?

Westport Beach Escapes is not located on site in any of the locations we manage so your rental will be prepared for "direct access" with a lockbox and combination at the door. It will be ready for you at 4:00 p.m. on the day of your arrival (unless early check in has been arranged in advance). No matter how late you arrive... your beach home will be ready for you!

How far away from the beach are the homes?

At Westport by the Sea the condominiums are less than 200 feet from the sandy beach at the closest point and approximately 1000 feet at their furthest. Each home is set a little differently on the property in relation to the beach. Most have views and typically the closer to the beach and the better the view the higher the price for rental. Our website offers multiple pictures to give you a good sense of each home.

At The Point at Westport Harbor it is approximately 1/4th of a mile along a paved path to the beach at Halfmoon Bay. There are "pocket beaches" located very near The Point that are protected from the elements and offer nice "tide pooling" as low tide nears (requires climbing over rock seawall)

At Cohasset Beach the beach is just a few steps away (300 feet) and is accessible over a sand path or a wide slightly elevated boardwalk. From Cohasset you can stroll north to the jetty (approx 2 miles) or south toward Grayland as far as you wish to walk (16 miles)  Between Cohasset Beach and Westport by the Sea is a nice stretch of beachcombing rock patches where agates, petrified wood and other beach treasures are often found.

What time is "check in" and "check out"?

Regular check in is 4:00 pm but if available an "early check in"  (1:00pm) can be purchased for an additional fee. This must be arranged in advance.

Regular check out is 11:00 am so that we can prepare the home for the next arriving guest. If available a "late check out" (4:00pm) can be purchased for an additional fee. This must be arranged in advance.
